Meet Our Team

Committed to the Wellbeing of Others

In 2017, Kaka Ray opened TN Neurofeedback (Tennessee Neurofeedback) in Brentwood, TN as part of her trauma therapy practice. After 15 years of counseling clients as a marriage and family therapist, Kaka began exploring brain-based modalities to help them reach deeper levels of healing. While attending a conference with Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, author of The Body Keeps the Score, Kaka learned about neurofeedback and its role as one of the crucial mechanisms for healing the effects of trauma on the brain. Kaka began using neurofeedback treatment with her clients, and after experiencing the profound difference she was seeing in the speed and depth of their healing, she founded Tennessee Neurofeedback to provide neurofeedback services to more individuals facing a variety of barriers to well-being. In 2020, Kaka’s daughter Kelsi joined the TN Neurofeedback team and now leads the clinic as the General Manager. In 2023, TN Neurofeedback expanded to a second location in Chattanooga, TN to provide accessible treatment to a wider community. Kaka and Kelsi love working together to promote access to neurofeedback and brain-based mental healthcare.

Eight years later, Tennessee Neurofeedback has helped nearly 3,000 clients improve their quality of life through decreasing anxiety and depression, ADHD symptoms, sleep issues, trauma and PTSD, and more.

We are proud to be locally owned in the Nashville area.

Our mission is to cultivate an inviting, warm atmosphere in our offices
and provide long-lasting healing to those who seek it.
